The DBS was revealed at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2007 as an evolution of the DB9 sports car. Combining  raw power and race bred technology with the traditional Aston Martin elegance, the DBS was the prime candidate for the new Bond car, making it's debut on the 2006 'Casino Royale' movie.
Designed by Marek Reichman and built on AM's 'VH' aluminium monocoque chassis structure, the DBS makes extensive use of aluminium and composite technology throughout the the body to reduce weight to 1695kg. It is equipped double wishbone suspension front and rear with Aston Martin's 'ADS' adaptive damping suspension for superior road holding and ride, the brakes are upgraded to 398mm/360mm carbon ceramic discs with six piston monobloc calipers up front and 4 piston monoblocs in the rear.

The DBS uses a further evolution of the legendary 5.9 litre V12 engine, producing 517bhp @ 6500rpm and 420lbft at 5750rpm. Coupled with a rear mounted transaxle manual transmission for optimum weight distribution, and feeding power to the rear wheels via a carbon fibre prop shaft and limited slip differential, the comparatively lightweight DBS could hit 62mph in 4.3 seconds and go onto to a top speed of 190mph.

We can produce artwork for all variations of the coupe DB9/DBS models. Please contact us with any questions or to enquire about any specific requirements.
