Like any entrenprenuer, my life pretty much entirely focused on the task of building my business and brand.

That being said, I still need a little down time every now and again, and since the business isn't quite at the point of being able to sustain an expensive hobby like motorsport, I like to dedicate my downtime to learning new skills...

Lately, I've been having fun learning how to create 'Motion Graphics'. Obviously, it ties in well with the graphic design that we already do at Black Art Graphics, and as a freshman project I decided to bring Engineered Art to life and showcase it in a way that makes Black Art Graphics stand out over the cheaper imitations that have emerged.

Some of you may have seen my first attempt at Engineered Art in Motion around 6 months ago with the 991 Carrera video. I was pleased with it at the time, but it looked a bit flat and lacked realism. Although it was great fun to make (the creative freedom that offers is insanely addictive!), it did end up taking rather a long time, I decided to put it down for a while.

Last week I decided to pick it back up and have another go, and today I've just finished of the second one in the series, featuring the newest addition to our catalogue, the incredible Huracan Performante Spyder.

As well as working on the template to make it easier to 'swap' the subject vehicle, I spent quite a bit of time on the brushed texture to give it more depth, and  recreating the unique way that it reflects light when you hold one in person.

I'm pretty pleased with how it's come out, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
